Ayrton Senna Voiceover Inspires New Nike Advert in Brazil for 2014 World Cup

Formula One icon Ayrton Senna’s voice and words have been used as part of a Nike film in Brazil ahead of the 2014 World Cup.

The words are designed to inspire the nation ahead of the biggest sporting event ever held on their soil.

Senna (in Portuguese) says:

Regardless of who you are, regardless of your social position—the highest or the lowest—have always as your goal to have a lot of strength, a lot of determination, and always do everything with a lot of love and faith in God. Because one day, you will get there. Somehow, you will get there.

Senna died in 1994 in an infamous crash at the San Marino Grand Prix, but he remains a Brazilian hero to this day.
